KAURI AND CONCRETE LOVE
For our wonderful clients in Raglan, we crafted a custom vanity using beautiful New Zealand Kauri timber, resulting in a truly unique piece.
The timber used in this vanity is recycled, showcasing the unique character and traces of its previous life. To accentuate these features, the holes and imperfections have been filled black, creating a striking contrast. The design features recessed handles, allowing the timber to take centre stage and adding an elegant touch.
A thick, custom-made concrete bench with an integrated sink spans the length of the vanity, that is nestled between two wing walls. Its oatmeal hue harmonises beautifully with the natural tones of the tiles and timber, creating a warm peaceful atmosphere. Adding a final touch, a small Kauri shelf sits just above the tiles, forming the base of a striking arch mirror that completes the overall design.
The brass tap and waste perfectly complement the tones of the beautiful bathroom and add a touch of warm luxury.
